1. Save money with PlusNet Home Phone

2. Jet off to the Big Apple with PlusNet!

3. More email platform improvements
We've been busy making changes to our mail platform recently as part of our ongoing plans to help improve the efficiency of our anti-spam platform. You can read the original announcement about some of these changes over on the Community site.
We have noticed a marked improvement in the performance of our mail platform since these changes were implemented.
We've also agreed a partnership with email security expert Postini to provide additional filtering for inbound emails. Postini, who were recently acquired by Google, are a global leader in communication security and will help you see a significant decrease in spam email.

4. PlusNet launches gaming servers!
Hot on the heels of our Broadband Your Way Pro launch we've set up a series of gaming servers to host some of the UK's most popular online games. The servers are free to use and are open to customers and non-customers alike.
PlusNet customers will experience greater performance as they are connected directly to the PlusNet network and never need to leave it. With all gaming traffic prioritised, low latency and ping times are ensured when you are gaming.
We've also launched a PS3 server hosting popular game Warhawk. For more details on the server and how you can play have a read of our Community site blog.

5. Facebook does business pages
Last week Facebook announced a whole host of new features available to businesses. Not content with over 50 million registered users world wide and an estimated value of $15bn, the Facebook team have opened up the site to allow businesses another medium to connect with their customers.
This is a sure-fire way to increase the measly 34.5 billion page views that Facebook got in September this year!
Not wanting to miss out on another opportunity to engage with our customers we've created our very own PlusNet Facebook page. We will regularly update the page with latest news and add links and pictures to recent PlusNet events.

6. Madasafish joins PlusNet family
As you're probably aware, PlusNet is part of the BT Group. Back in July, BT bought Brightview, a company that operates a number of ISP brands, including Madasafish. In December, Madasafish customers will be joining the PlusNet family, as we'll be combining our networks and infrastructure to offer improved services to Madasafish customers.

7. Other news
We've dressed up in some very questionable outfits for events such as Hallowe'en and Breast Cancer Awareness 'In The Pink' Day, we hosted the first ever PlusNet LAN party and had a fantastic day in the process and we started dreaming about Christmas.
I'm delighted to announce that we have won another award - 'Best Broadband Provider' from Computer Shopper magazine - and given out another year's free broadband for one lucky customer who filled in our Rate My Service survey!
We've also reviewed last month's customer satisfaction survey which shows that 61.1% of respondents were either 'very satisfied' or 'extremely satisfied' with their service. Read more about the survey on the Community site.
