PlusNet is no ordinary broadband provider. We're driven by a real passion for the Internet, and a determination to offer the best-value broadband experience in the UK. So what do we do differently to make this possible? Read on to find out.

Reason 1 Online Support

Other broadband providers may have a few help pages on their websites, but they don't all take online help seriously.. We genuinely believe in online help and we think that our customers would much rather help themselves if we can point them in the right direction with tutorials and guides. We've got over 200 support pages and tutorials, so you'll have no problem finding help if you get stuck.

Reason 2 The PlusNet website

We don't think you should come to the website to sign up then never come back. We want you to use our website and become part of our community. Come and chat in our forums. Make changes to your account. Check on your broadband usage. Read the latest news. Activate extra features and services. You can do all this and more on our website, so you don't have to pick up the phone and ring us. We're also always looking to add more tools and features.

Reason 3 Traffic management and clear allowances

By managing traffic we make sure that you get high-performance for your time-sensitive data, such as web browsing, gaming and VoIP. We also offer clear usage allowances, rather than unlimited broadband with a vague fair use policy that leaves you in the dark over how much you can actually use. We're happy to discuss allowances and traffic management with you, unlike many other providers.

Reason 4 Our open and honest approach

Tired of hitting a brick wall when you have a question for your provider? Certain things they don't want to tell you? You won't get that here. We believe in sharing information with our customers, whether that's on our website, in our forums or by email. Talking to our customers helps us stay in touch and helps our customers understand what's happening at their service provider.

We like exciting new technology and we like to share it with you. That's why we've added Wireless Broadband, VoIP and Home Phone to our product set. We're not stopping there. We've got ADSL2+ and TR-069 in the pipeline - giving you access to faster connectivity and an even easier way to get online.

Our 24/7 customer support centre is based in Sheffield, in the same building as everyone else that works at PlusNet. This means our support analysts know exactly what everyone else is doing to offer you the best possible support.
