X-Lite Setup Guide for Mac OS X

This guide shows you how to configure X-Lite to make calls using PlusNet Broadband Phone on an Apple Mac

Installation of X-Lite

1.Download the X-Lite Installer

2.Drag the downloaded file into your application folder to installed the application.

3. Click on Go, click on Applications. Click on the X-Lite icon to start it up.

4.Click the arrow pointing down at the top of X-Lite then select SIP Account Settings:

5. Click the Add button on the right side of the popup window.

6. Set up your account as follows:

    1. Click on the account tab.
    2. Enter a name for your account.
    3. Enter your SIP ID in the Username box.
    4. Enter your account password in the Password box. Please note: If you change the password for your main account, you will need to update it here as well.
    5. Enter your SIP ID in the Authorization Username box.
    6. Enter sip.plus.net in the Domain box.
    7. Ensure Register with domain and receive incoming calls is ticked.
    8. Select Proxy.
    9. Enter sip.plus.net in the Address box.

Setting up X-Lite using a firewall

    1. Click the Topology tab.
    2. Click Discover global address.
    3. Click Use specified server.
    4. Enter stun.xten.net in the address box.
    5. Ensure Enable ICE is ticked.
    6. Click OK to finish setting up your account.

You have now completed setting up X-Lite. Your account should now connect automatically.
