How to set up Netscape 7.2 mail to work with your PlusNet account.
1. Open the Netscape browser, click 'Window', then click 'Mail & Newsgroups'.

2. Click on 'Edit', then click 'Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings'.

3. Click on 'Add Account' in the bottom left of this pane, make sure 'Email account' is checked on 'New Account Setup'.


4. Enter your name and your PlusNet email address.

5. Make sure 'POP' is selected as the Incoming Server type.

6. Enter 'mail.plus.net' as the Incoming Server.
7. Enter 'relay.plus.net' as the Outgoing Server.
8. Enter your PlusNet username.

9. Enter a name for your new account (e.g. 'PlusNet mail')

10. Check you have entered the correct information. If you have, click on 'Finish'.

11. Check that the server settings and your own details are correct.

12. Check that the SMTP settings are correct.

13. Check that the 'Account' settings are correct.

14. Now click on 'Compose', to create a new email.

15. You will now be prompted to enter your PlusNet password.
16. Enter your password, ensuring you tick the checkbox 'Use Password Manager to remember this password' is ticked.

17. Your new 'Compose' screen will look like this.

18. You are now ready to send and receive emails.
