Changing Password - General Information

The following guide advises a general guide on how to change the password stored in a USB modem.

USB modems are generally controlled using the Dial Up Networking section of Windows.

In order to update your password, please use the following steps:

  1. Make sure you are offline to allow the password change to be made.
  2. Click Start and select Control Panel.
  3. Click the Network and Internet Connections category.
  4. Click the Network Connections icon.
  5. Double-click the icon for your connectin in the Dial Up of Network Connections.
  6. In the dialogue box that appears, enter your new password and click Dial.
