Netgear routers - Changing Password

The following guide advises how to change the password for a Netgear router.

  1. Start your web browser and go to the address http://192.168.0.1/
  2. Log into your router, by default the username is "admin" and the password is "password".
  3. Select the "Basic Settings" option from the left hand menu.
  4. Locate the section under "Does Your Internet Connection Require a Login".
  5. Update your password in the password field.
  6. Click the apply button towards the bottom of the page.

Your password change is now complete.
